Furthermore, archives can be password protected, so you can keep your data safe. Zipghost allows you to compress or batch compress your files, add files to existing archives and more. The application is easy to use, due to its simple design and it works quite fast.

Zipghost is free to try for 30 days, after which you must purchase a license if you want to continue using this application. Its trial version is fully functional, so you can use all features, without any restrictions. The installation package is roughly one MB and it takes only a few seconds until you can have the software up and running.

The user interface is clean and simple and it presents strictly what you need to create ZIP archives, extract their contents, add new files to existing archives and perform other processes. To create a new archive, you just need to specify where you wish to store it and select one or more files. Once you complete these simple procedures, the archive will be created instantly and its contents will appear in a list, on the user interface. Alternatively, you can open an existing archive and add new files.

When adding files to a new or existing archive, you can set the program to save the full path information of your files, select a compression level and an action, which should be carried out if you add files that already exist in the opened archive. It is also possible to add files with wildcards and password protect the archive.

The application is capable of batch zipping or extracting files. These operations can be carried out by following a wizard's instructions. In both cases, Zipghost can process specific files or entire folders. If you wish to batch extract a number of archives, you can also set the application to include sub-folders, set up filters to extract files with specific extensions and select an overwriting method.
